is an Israeli Arab politician who previously served as chairman of Bnei Sakhnin football club. He was mayor of Sakhnin from 2008 to 2018 and a member of the Knesset for the United Arab List from 2021 to 2022.


Biography

Ghnaim was born in Sakhnin. He played for Hapoel Sakhnin football club until the age of 27. After the club merged with Maccabi Sakhnin to form Bnei Sakhnin, he became the new club's chairman. A member of Balad, Ghnaim was eighth on the party's list for the 2006 Knesset elections, but the party won only three seats. In 2008 he resigned as chairman of the football club in order to run for the mayoralty of Sakhnin in the local elections. He was elected with 59% of the vote and remained mayor until the
