Returning to Racing the following year, he established himself as a starter before signing for Primera B Nacional side Central Córdoba de Santiago del Estero on 14 January 2015. Bustos made his professional debut on 18 April 2015, coming on as second half substitute in a 2–0 home win against All Boys. His first goal came on 12 June, the game's only in a home success over Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza. In July 2016 Bustos moved abroad for the first time in his career, joining Uruguayan Primera División club
