Marrar FC then played in the
Central Riverina Football League from 1957 to 1981 and were premiers in 1965, 1966 and 1979 and were runners up in 1958, 1959, 1960, 1971, 1977, 1980 and 1981.
Marrar FC have played in the
Farrer Football League since 1982 and have won senior football premierships in 1995 and 1996, 2017 and 2018.
The closest rugby league team is in nearby Junee. With that town fielding no Australian Rules team since 1987, Junee's Aussie Rules players travel to Marrar.
