In 2008, Barbosa debuted in adult drama; she was cast by the duo Charles Möeller and Cláudio Botelho to play Clara girl in ''7 - O Musical''. Acting in the musical was quite a big challenge for her, as she had to represent and also had to sing and dance. Her portrayal of Clara was close to what Möeller imagined. Barbosa usually does a job as a protector of animals, especially stray cats. She hosts kittens at home while looking for people who want to adopt them. In December 2013, she participated in the animal adoption campaign "Adotei" ("I have adopted"). She also participates in philanthropic campaigns such as the Brazilian Institute for Cancer Control (IBCC), Friends of Children with Cancer (AMICCA) and the Brazilian Association of Lymphoma and Leukemia ( ABRALE).
