As well as still lifes, she realized interiors, some landscapes, scenes of quotidian life, particularly with children : ''L'anniversaire'', ''Sortie de classe'', ''Maternité'', ''Prière pour l'absent''… Since 1879, Marie Adrien Lavieille taught drawing in schools in Paris.
