His deal was extended to the end of the season on 17 February 2024, scoring his first goal for Gateshead on the same day, opening the scoring in a 4–2 win away at Wealdstone. On 23 March 2024, Jobe was recalled by Cambridge. Ahead of the 2024–25 season, Jobe ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament while doing physical conditioning work prior to pre-season.
