From 2005 to 2009 he taught at the Conservatory in Teplice. Since 2014, he has been leading the recorder class at the Jan Deyl Conservatory in Prague. In 2019, he was awarded by the Křesadlo award for 2018 by the Hestia Foundation for his charitable work. In 2022, at the 51st Synod of the Old Catholic Church in the Czech Republic, he was elected a member of the Synod Council, where he holds the position of vice-chairman.
