The following is a list of national roads in Tanzania, under the jurisdiction of the ''Tanzania National Roads Agency'' (TANROADS). The list is not exhaustive. As part of the 2007 Roads Act in Tanzania, National roads were classified into two categories, Trunk Roads and Regional Roads. The total road network in Tanzania as of December 2022 is , of which are classified as National Roads (Trunk &; Regional) and as District Roads (Collector, Feeder and Urban roads). District roads are under the responsibility of the President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PORALG) through Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA).
