There are 92 active parkruns in the region as of 12 August 2022. Gorleston Parkrun was the first Parkrun to be set up in the region. The 500th event at Gorleston Parkrun was held on 1 December 2018 and 349 attended.


London

The region has 72 active parkruns (as at 15 Aug 2022) and contains the country's slowest course, Millom parkrun, with an average run time of 35 minutes 39 seconds and hilliest, Whinlatter Forest parkrun, with total climb and descent of 205 m.


Northern Ireland

There are 36 active public parkruns as at 15 Aug 2022. This includes Portrush Parkrun at East Strand Beach, the only UK run on the sand and voted the UK's best Parkrun in 2017.
