Lilia Michel (July 30, 1926 – August 10, 2011) was a Mexican television and film actress most active during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, earning her the nickname of "the jewel" of the film era. Michel was born Lilia Fernández Larios on July 30, 1926, in

Michel later switched to television, earning numerous roles in telenovelas, including '' Aprendiendo a Vivir'', '' María la del Barrio'' and ''Rosalía''. Lilia Michel died in Mexico City on August 10, 2011, at the age of 85.
