'' (1953) and '' Kasih Sajang'' (1954), with whom she had five children including Liesya Imany Permanasari, Bonita Permanawati, and Rini S. Bono (b. 1956), an actress. They divorced and one of their daughter, Rini, went to became an actress. She remarried to her second husband until her death.

Career

Lies started her career as an actress by made her film debut in '' Kasih Sajang'' (1954), which was produced by Persari. She starred in another Persari's production, ''

when avoiding a motorcycle while turning into her house's alley, and causing her to bounce and crushed by a truck tire on her head. The contents of her brain was scattered two meters and her body was then transported by an ambulance that night. Her husband was overseas when the accident occurred.
