College and Amateur

Wright attended South Eugene High School, where he broke the school scoring record after notching 34 goals as a senior, and who he led to an Oregon state championship in 2002. Wright signed his first professional contract in 2010 when he was signed by the NSC Minnesota Stars of the USSF Division 2 Professional League. He made his professional debut on May 8, 2010, in a game against Montreal Impact.
