Jackson played in five games as a true freshman at LSU in 2021. After one year at LSU, he transferred to the

. In his first year at Arkansas in 2022, he played in all 13 games with seven starts and had 23 tackles and three sacks. Jackson returned to Arkansas his junior year in 2023. He started all 12 games and finished the season with 44 tackles, 13.5 tackles for lost yardage, and 6.5 sacks. Jackson was named to the Coaches 1st Team
