debut on 8 April 2021, for Western Australia in the 2020–21 Marsh One-Day Cup. Lance played for Western Australia in the 2021-22 Sheffield Shield season. He played in the grand final against Victoria, which saw Western Australia overcome a 23-year drought and be named Sheffield Shield Champions for 2021–22. In the 2022–23 season, Morris played for Western Australia in their back-to-back Sheffield Shield series triumph.


International Career

Morris was added to the Australian Test squad against the West Indies in December 2022. Morris toured as a part of the winning Australian Test squad against South Africa in December 2022–January 2023. He was also in the Australian Test squad for the tour against India in February–March 2023.


Awards

The Western Australian Cricket Association named Morris their 2020–21 Male Rising Star. For 2022–23, Lance was named Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year at the Australian Cricket Awards.
