Some authors also attribute an anonymous work titled ''Narrationes fabularum quae in Ov. Metam. occurrunt'' to Lactantius, though Franz Bretzigheimer argued against this view, on the basis that the commentator on Statius lacks evidence of Christian attitudes seen in the ''Narrationes''.
