Primulaceae, native to the Malesia biogeographical region. Its best known species is ''Labisia pumila'', which is cultivated as a medicinal herb in Malaysia and Indonesia for, among other things, improving libido in women, induction of childbirth, and relieving postmenopausal discomfort.
