Kieselbronn was sold in 1368 to

German mediatization, but was ceded to the
Grand Duchy of Baden in 1810 in the . Kieselbronn was assigned to the Pforzheim district in 1819 and remained as such when Baden was reorganized in 1864 and on 25 June 1939. On 1 January 1973, was assigned to
Enz district.
