He has visited United Kingdom, Japan, India, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Malaysia. He represents PP-72 (Faisalabad-XXII). On July 18, 2013, the Supreme Court of Pakistan, initiated criminal proceedings against Islam for holding a fake degree.
