Gopy plays the role of Chellappan, which he describes as "unapologetically characterised and has an intricate nature of its own". Varalaxmi plays Muthulakshmi, a village belle. Manasa plays the role of Ummukkulusu, "a chirpy and energetic Muslim girl" as she describes.
