History

The station originally signed on as K42DT on analog channel 42. It was owned by the Trinity Broadcasting Network. By 2002, the station was under the ownership of Venture Technologies Group, which continues to own it. From 2002, the station became silent, and was granted a temporary authority license the following year by the FCC. In May 2006, the station owners moved the station's location from Coalinga Ridge in
Coalinga, California Coalinga ( or ) is a city in Fresno County and the western San Joaquin Valley, in central California about 80 miles (128 km) southeast of Salinas. It was formerly known as ''Coaling Station A'', ''Coalingo'', and ''Coalinga Station''. The ...
