ahead of the 2012 season and signed a three-year contract with the club. Skjelvik played regularly for Kalmar during the 2012 season, and scored two goals and made nine assists. He was injured during the 2013 season, and did only play a few minutes as a substitute. In July 2013 he signed a 4.5-year contract with Norwegian team Rosenborg.
