De Marte is son of Dorrie Derfler, a probation officer, and is Jewish. He had his bar mitzvah in Temple Beth Am in Yorktown Heights. His younger brother Matthew, one of his triplet siblings, is in the Los Angeles Angels’ scouting department. He grew up in
