THE CROSS Aside from the white two-barred cross inside the shield, a bigger one in gold is placed behind the shield. THE MOUNTAIN The outline of Mt Kinabalu signifies the location of the Archdiocese of Kota Kinabalu in the State of Sabah in the Federation of Malaysia, since the mountain is one of the most outstanding landmarks of the state.
