Early life and education
In 2001 Vogel graduated from high school. After his civil service as a paramedic in Wermelskirchen, he studied political science, history and public law at the
University of Bonn

Political career
From 2005 until 2010, Vogel served as chairman of the
Young Liberals. He first became a member of the Bundestag in the
2009 German federal election

2017 national elections, Vogel was re-elected to the Bundestag. He has since been a member of the Committee for Labour and Social Affairs and a substitute member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. He chairs the FDP parliamentary group's working group on labour and social affairs and serves as the group's spokesman for labour market and pension policy.
In addition to his committee assignments, Vogel is part of the German-Chinese Parliamentary Friendship Group. In 2020, he joined the
