Biography

Chess has learned to play at the age of five. In 1988, she won second place in the Finnish Youth Chess Championship in the U16 girl's age group. Johanna Paasikangas-Tella participated in numerous Finnish Women's Chess Championships, in which she won five golds (1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994), two silver (1990, 1996) and two bronze medals (1986, 1988). Johanna Paasikangas-Tella is a winner of many international chess tournaments, including won in 1995
