Lassinantti previously played the entirety of his career within the Luleå HF organization of the
Swedish Hockey League The Swedish Hockey League (officially SHL; sv, Svenska Hockeyligan) is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The league was founded in 1975, an ...
(SHL). Following his 12th season within Luleå HF, Lassinantti opted to pursue a career away from SHL, agreeing to a one-year contract with Russian club, HC Sochi of the KHL on 16 May 2020. During the
