Jochen Borchert (born 25 April 1940 in Nahrstedt, Stendal (district), Stendal) is a German politician and member of the Christian Democratic Union (Germany), CDU. He was Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection, minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection in Chancellor of Germany (Federal Republic of Germany), Chancellor Helmut Kohl's cabinet from 1993 to 1998. From 1980 to 2009 he has been a member of the Bundestag.
