James Edward Vesey, Sr. (born October 29, 1965) is an American former
ice hockey player, who currently works as a scout for the
Toronto Maple Leafs. He played 15 games in the
National Hockey League with the
St. Louis Blues and
Boston Bruins between 1988 and 1991. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1988 to 1995, was spent in the minor leagues. His son,

Biography
Vesey was born in
Boston, Massachusetts and raised in the Charlestown neighborhood. As a youth, he played in the 1978
Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a
minor ice hockey team from
Boston.
