Jesen () is a small settlement in the
Municipality of Kanal ob Soči in western
Slovenia. Until 2007, the area was part of the settlement of
Gorenja Vas.
The settlement is part of the traditional region of the
Slovenian Littoral
The Slovene Littoral ( sl, Primorska, ; it, Litorale; german: Küstenland) is one of the five traditional regions of Slovenia. Its name recalls the former Austrian Littoral (''Avstrijsko Primorje''), the Habsburg possessions on the upper Ad ...
and is included in the
