Jerome Albert Green (April 16, 1936 – December 12, 1994) was an American football player. Green was born in 1936 in Atlanta and attended Henry W. Grady High School in that city. He then played college football at Georgia Tech from 1955 to 1958. Green played professional football for the 1960 Boston Patriots during the inaugural season of the
American Football League The American Football League (AFL) was a major professional American football league that operated for ten seasons from 1960 until 1970, when it merged with the older National Football League (NFL), and became the American Football Conference. ...
(AFL). He appeared in two games for the Patriots and caught three passes for 52 yards. Green died in 1994 at age 58 at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
