, Sery began his career with spells at CIK, KB, B93 and Lyngby, before joining the academy at Superliga club FC Midtjylland in July 2015. He progressed to sign a contract extension in January 2018 and was a part of the club's 2017–18 and 2018–19 U19 Ligaen-winning squads.
