After graduating from Yale in 1994, she served as a law clerk for the chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Stephanie K. Seymour from 1994 until 1995. She was employed at the Export-Import Bank of the United States from August 1998 until April 2000. In 2002, Levit became an assistant professor at
