Lemmerman used documentation from his bar mitzvah and confirmation to prove his eligibility for the team. During the opening game of the tournament, while batting ninth, Lemmerman went 0 for 4, leaving 4 men on base. During the second game Lemmerman batted seventh, going 1 for 4 with a strikeout. During the third and final game, Lemmerman batted ninth and went 0 for 2 while being hit by a pitch 3 times and scoring a run.
