On April 8, 2023, Gilyard signed a two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies. Gilyard made his NBA debut on April 9, 2023 in a 115–100 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He recorded three points, seven assists, four rebounds, and three steals.
