Prior to joining GFI, Giancarlo was executive vice president and U.S. legal counsel of Fenics Software. From September 1997 to April 2000, Giancarlo was a corporate partner in the New York law firm of Brown Raysman Millstein Felder and Steiner, where he advised technology businesses on corporate and finance transactions. In February 2011, Giancarlo testified before the U.S. House Financial Services Committee of the U.S. Congress on implementation of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act ("Dodd-Frank Act"). In October of that same year, Giancarlo also testified before the House Committee on Agriculture on Legislative Proposals Amending Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Act.
