Three men laid the foundation for Volvo Construction Equipment: Johan Theofron Munktell and the brothers Jean Bolinder and Carl Gerhard Bolinder. In 1832, Johan Theofron Munktell, then only 27, founds what became Volvo Construction Equipment in
