However, in the following season in La Liga, Harte was injured in August and failed to regain his place in the team once he returned from injury in January. This time though Levante finished in 15th place and were safe from relegation.

On 18 April 2014, Harte signed a new one-year deal with the ''Cherries'', keeping him contracted until June 2015. On 6 May 2015, four days after the team earned their first ever promotion to the Premier League, he was one of seven players told that he would be released.
