Personal life

His marriages to Helen M. Simon and Lady Caroline Blackwood ended in divorce. Surviving are a son and daughter by his first marriage, Robert Citkowitz and Dr. Elena Citkowitz Hoffman; three daughters by his second marriage, Natalya, Eugenia and Ivana; a sister and two grandchildren.
