He was survived by his wife of 60 years, Salvacion, and six children - Cesar, Claro, Celso, Carlo, Isagani Jr., and Cynthia. Before his death, Isagani wrote the famous Filipino play "Si Kabayan". It is about an Indonesian village easily fooled by a religious just because he said he saw Allah and His Prophets.
