Etymology

The term ''ichthyophobia'' comes from the Greek ἰχθῦς - ''ichthus'', meaning "fish" and φόβος - ''phobos'', "fear". '' Galeophobia'' comes from the Greek γαλεός - ''galeos'', "small shark".
