Hope Township is a civil township of Midland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,286 at the 2000 census.

U.S. Census Bureau, 2000 census The first settlers, Orrin Maltby and Joseph Rooker settled in 1856. The first township meeting was in 1871 and a post office was established in May of the same year.
