In season two Konishi nearly made it to the final twenty, but with only a student visa, he was unable to be legally employed in the United States, which resulted in his dismissal from the program. Subsequently, he obtained a work permit and became eligible to participate in the competition in Season Three. He was voted off the show by the judges on July 19, 2007. Konishi is known for his breakdancing moves and was formerly a member of the dance troupe ''SickStep''. He appeared with ''SickStep'' in the season two auditions and was the final member to make it through to the Vegas stage. As of 2007, he is a member of a breaking crew called
