Circa 2015 the number of students increased to 10,000, but declined after a decline in the oil market. In October 2017 the number of students was at 10,070. In early 2019, when the 2018-2019 school year ended, the student count was 10,341. This increased to 10,615 five days after the beginning of the subsequent school year, in fall 2019.
