. On November 11, 2015, He Jiacheng was expelled from the Communist Party. The investigation concluded Yu had gone to private clubs and accepted bribes. On February 28, 2017, he was sentenced to 9 years in prison for taking bribes by the Intermediate People's Court in Ningbo.
