Playing career

Verèl made his debut for
Sparta Sparta ( Doric Greek: Σπάρτα, ''Spártā''; Attic Greek: Σπάρτη, ''Spártē'') was a prominent city-state in Laconia, in ancient Greece. In antiquity, the city-state was known as Lacedaemon (, ), while the name Sparta referre ...
on 20 May 1973 against Den Bosch, but only managed to play one league game for the club. In 1976 he left for SVV.


Managerial career

A persistent injury ended his career while playing for Den Bosch in 1978, and he became an assistant coach at the club. In 1982 he became head coach alongside general manager

Personal life
