Conviction

Wilkins pled guilty to conspiracy nd filing false tax returnsin 2017 for accepting $80,000 in bribes in exchange for influencing state legislation. He was found guilty and sentenced to one year and a day in prison and ordered to pay $123,000 in restitution.
