Biography

According to his official

, Pritikin inherited a love of film from his father, who had an extensive collection of 16mm prints. Pritikin watched them religiously before starting to make his own 8mm films at the age of eight. Pritikin feels very strongly about people using electronic devices on airplanes. In a 2013 New York Times article he was quoted as saying: "I’ve almost come to fisticuffs with some passengers who refuse to turn off their phone. I take airplane safety very seriously."
