Biography

Grant Whytock was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to James Whytock and Evelyn Carn Whytock (1865–1942). He had two older sisters, Evelyn Whytock Lehners (1887–1961), who became a music composer, and Ora Whytock (1891–1955), who became a film actress under the name Ora Carew.
