Jask County Jask County ( fa, شَهرِستانِ جاسک) is in Hormozgan province, Iran. The capital of the county is the city of Jask. The following census in 2011 counted 1,316 people in 298 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Bashagard County, and the village of Gowharan was elevated to the status of a city. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,170 people in 323 households.
