Early life

Gopal Jee Thakur was born on 15th of October 1969 to a Maithil Brahmin family of Parri village, Darbhanga district. He is a PHD in Sociology. An agriculturist by profession, Thakur has been active in Politics since his student life. He became a political figure and a social worker. After winning the 2019 General election from Darbhanga Loksabha, Thakur became the first local MP (Member Of Parliament) from Darbhanga District with highest vote of 5,86,668 in the history of Darbhanga Loksabha election. Gopal Jee Thakur is active in Darbhanga district.
